Location

Pinezići is located at the SW coast of the Island of Krk, the so-called Šotovento- (derived from Italian “Sotto Vento” which means “under the wind”). The main climatic characteristics of this part of the island are a small amount of rain and less wind.

In the village there are two small grocery stores, a tourist office and a playground for the small ones. The village is very quiet, it has a neat beach with showers, toilets and two cosy Coctail Bars. Recently the beach in Pinezići has been rated with the “Blue Flag”.

The village is situated between the two largest tourist centres of the island, the City of Krk, (approx. 10 km) and Malinska (approx. 12 km).

Additionally Pinezići is close (2,5 km) to the ferry port “Valbiska” connecting the islands of Krk and Cres. In the summer the ferries ply two/three times per hour, the voyage takes about 30 minutes. You can find more information about ferry timetables and prices here.

If you prefer to have an active vacation Pinezići is a good starting point for various, biking and hiking trips into its beautiful surroundings. You can visit local cities with rich Mediterranean architecture or take a walk around the island paths arranged by the tourist board of Krk.

You can reach the village of Pinezići comfortabily by car or bus. On the Island of Krk, approx. 25km from Pinezići there also is the airport of Rijeka. We offer free transfer to and from the airport for our guests who plan to come by plane.
